External Power Protection Device

An external power protection device can be connected to a computer to help control or prevent damaging fluctuations in electrical power. There are three main types of power protection devices: surge protectors, line conditioners, and uninterruptible power supplies. Each device provides a specific type of protection to help prevent a different type of power disturbance.
