Aries® Linux Essentials™
Linux Essentials™ is a one semester course with multimedia instructional design focusing on the basic Linux operating system, Linux history, system installation, configuration, and commands. Interactive simulations give students hands on experience without requiring a dedicated Linux computer. This course prepares students to exceed the standards aligned to industry endorsed certifications and apprenticeship programs such as Linux Plus and the Linux Professional Institute Certification -1 (LPIC-1).*
