Input Devices

An input device is any device that lets the user enter data into a computer.  Simply put, an input device helps tell a computer what to do.  From changing a word on the computer screen to moving the cursor, input devices give instructions to a computer. 

Input devices include: keyboards, pointing devices, data scanning devices, digital cameras, microphones, and voice recognition devices.
