Motherboard

A motherboard, also called a main board or system board, is the main component in a computer's system unit. A motherboard is a printed circuit board that acts as a computer's nerve center. Each device in a computer depends on the motherboard for data and instructions. There are many different components on a motherboard including a CPU interface, RAM sockets, expansion slots, and a computer chip set.
